Who this is for

Devices already in the field that flatten their batteries months before the estimate said they would, or drop off the network and reappear hours later.

The cause is usually one of three things: PSM negotiated differently than the firmware assumes, a wake-up path nobody measured, or a peripheral that never reaches the low-power state its datasheet promises.

What we need from you

Two or three sample devices, the firmware source if you have it, and the SIM operator. If you have field data showing which units fail first, send that too — it usually narrows the search before we open a single device.
